The main aim of our project is to frame the areas of co-operation between the discussed civilizations.
During the course of lectures and workshops the participants will have the opportunity to elaborate a model dialogue. Emphasizing mutual values, highlighting political and economic ties and defining common global challenges make a real dialogue possible to occur. Our school's objective is to lay the foundations for further research, discussion, workshops and integrative conferences. Direct contact and rapport among the participants results in effective long-term co-operation. Our programme is addressed to students of high education as well as to non-governmental organizations activists and journalists.
Lectures, workshops, seminars and papers will focus on:
I. The core of the dialogue of civilizations
II. The identity of Western and Islam civilizations
III. Relations between the civilizations
IV. Policy of dialogue between the civilizations
In particular:
-dialogue as a stimulus to creative co-operation,
-dialogue as a method of explaining conflict ideas and matters,
-dialogue as a new paradigm of security,
-dialogue as a new way of reaction against terrorism,
